The Town of Brownsburg Parks is excited to announce that we have been awarded a $1,130 grant from the Parks Foundation of Hendricks County. This generous funding will allow us to enhance our bird hike programs by purchasing binoculars for participants.

"We're grateful to have been awarded this grant from the Parks Foundation of Hendricks County," said Town Council President Travis Tschaenn. "This grant enables us to provide more immersive and engaging experiences for our community."
The addition of binoculars will allow participants to observe birds up close, fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural world and promoting environmental stewardship. This initiative aligns with our mission to connect individuals with nature and encourage outdoor activities for all ages.
The bird hikes occur monthly at different parks and are designed for bird enthusiasts of all skill levels. Brownsburg Parks' naturalist, Riley Kuhns, leads participants through local habitats, educating them about various bird species and their ecological importance.
