PC Minutes

The Brownsburg Police Records Department maintains all of the files for the police department, enters reports and crime data into computer databases, answers administrative phone lines, assists the public with obtaining copies of police reports.

Service List

Vehicle identification checks may be required by the BMV.  This is a free service to citizens living in Brownsburg.  The service is $5.00 to outside town limits citizens.  This service is provided at the Brownsburg Police Department or an officer can be dispatched to your residence inside town limits.

Finger prints are provided free of charge to residents of the Town of Brownsburg between the hours of 7:30am to 5pm.  This service is provided at the Brownsburg Police Department.

Incident Report      $5.00 first page

Additional Pages     $3.00 each

Case Report Copies

Notary services are provided $1.00 per signature.  The service is provided at the Brownsburg Police Department.

Alarm Permits

Alarm permits are required by the Town of Brownsburg.  Alarm permits for a resident are $20.00 every two years.  Alarm Permits for a business are $50.00 per year.

Hand gun application are issued at the Brownsburg Police Department.

Permits are issued by the Indiana State Police and may take 4 to 6 weeks.
