Chief Carroll has over 30 years of service with the Brownsburg Police Department.  After beginning his career in 1974 with the Reserve Officer

program, a tradition upheld today, Chief Carroll established himself within the emerging foundation of the Brownsburg Police Department by becoming the first Reserve Officer to progress into full-time employment. Since 1974, Chief Carroll has performed job duties in nearly every facet of the Brownsburg Police Department, such as the Investigations Division Commander and Assistant Chief of Police. During Chief Carroll's tenure at the Brownsburg Police Department, he has also received many honors, including the Medal of Heroism and Officer of the Year.  Chief Carroll's tremendous dedication to law enforcement with the Brownsburg Police Department and his reverberate leadership continues to carry the tradition of public service to the citizens of Brownsburg with honor and distinction.
